A pair of Jackson County School System educators have been named 2025 Don Cargill STEM Scholars by the Georgia Youth Science and Technology Centers.
Maysville Elementary's Matt Allen and West Jackson Elementary's Jessica Knight were both awarded $500 to be used to purchase STEM education materials for their classrooms.
The GYSTC recognizes education professionals for outstanding efforts to engage and improve student learning in STEM disciplines.
